Implementation Plan

This plan describes the creation of a consortium of research centers in the National Catholic School of Social Service (NCSSS) that coalesces current teaching, research, and service by the faculty using Catholic Social Teaching as the framework. In doing so, the plan offers a vehicle, the consortium, as a sustainable means of meeting the mission of the school and that of The Catholic University of America. The plan offers fiscal means of achieving a fully active consortium in which scholarly work, supported by both funded grants and philanthropy, will become a generator of extensive future growth for the school. Ultimately, the Consortium for Catholic Social Teaching will become a significant part of CUA’s actualized response to the Catholic Tradition of charity and social justice.
