Description
As gender variance has become more common, we, as therapists, encounter more clients who are identifying with being somewhere on the gender spectrum, and we encounter more clients who need knowledgeable, understanding, and non-judgmental therapists to help them deal with various issues; some related to being gender non-conforming, and some that do not. It is incumbent on us to be able to assist these clients with whatever issues they have, while being empathic and well-informed about what they are going through. Some clients may also want our help in transitioning into the gender they feel they are, and wouldn’t it be helpful if we knew what to do about this?
