NCSSS is proud to recognize Frank Gaetani, LCSW, Director of Field Education, for his election to the Field Education Committee of the Baccalaureate Program Directors (BPD) organization. This leadership role reflects Frank's standing as an innovator and thought leader in Social Work Field Education at the national level.
In addition to his committee service, Frank presented the “New Field Director Training” at this year’s annual BPD Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he provided orientation, insights, and strategies to new field directors across the country.
“Supporting field education leaders is crucial in supporting social work students,” Gaetani said. “When field education programs are rooted in collaboration and student engagement, our students are more likely to succeed and have positive experiences in the field. I am honored to support the country’s newest cohort of field directors in this role and with this opportunity."
Gaetani’s efforts to advance field education training and develop new initiatives continue to benefit students, field instructors, and agency partners alike, and reflect the school's commitment to excellence in preparing the next generation of social work practitioners.
